A3 size copy of part of Fitzmaurice Road. Although the copy taken does not name the road, it is almost certainly Fitzmaurice Road. The area covered is not large. The date pencilled on the map is 1926, and the map shows Saint George’s Church at the Jumpers Road end’ of Fitzmaurice Road, plus five houses in the road. Detail given on the map includes the plot number, house number, and owner / occupier, together with the frontage length to the road.

Format of the data is ‘Plot number; House number (some plots have more than one house and ‘&’ shows this; Owner or occupier’, with a ‘/’ between plots. Note the house numbers do NOT correspond to modern numbering.

Two A3-size sheets of a map showing houses on the west side of Fairmile Road, drawn to 1 inch to 20 feet scale, and situated close to the junction with The Grove. It does not state the origin of the map, but written on the copy is the date 1934. The map shows house names, but work has been done to add modern house numbers to the house names. The map covers modern house numbers 252 to 270 in Fairmile Road.

House names mentioned are Ellan Vannin, Sadarna, Ellingham, The Cosy, Daleview, Peacehaven, Glencoe, and Sorrento.

The copies are part of the Stephen Head collection and have been digitised.
