The book is one of a series produced by Allen White (1919 – 1997) an enthusiastic local photographer who had a strong interest in local history. This book covers the Church Street and Castle Street area of Christchurch and includes photographs, drawings and text. The contents were updated by Brian Haywood, Red House Museum.
